We are excited to announce our second round of project seed grants and expression of interests for trial-ready centres!
The seed grant funding scheme aims to support new innovative stroke trial research across Australia (maximum funding request $50,000) to be awarded to researchers based in Australia. The grant funding term is 18 months.
There is an EOI that must be completed (like minimum data for NHMRC/MRFF) at least two weeks before the closing date. This will allow our team to secure appropriate reviewers ahead of the closing date and ensure we adhere to our timelines. On completion of the EOI, the full application link will be provided so long as CIA meets the eligibility criteria.

The NHMRC CRE in Stroke Trials site funding scheme aims to support the establishment of more Stroke Trial Ready Centres across Australia. This scheme is open to hospital and health services, in partnership with academic institutions, who are looking to engage in a program of stroke clinical trials across acute, recovery and prevention; build their local trials workforce capacity; and receive mentoring in clinical trial program start-up. The CRE will provide $50,000 in funding to be matched by a $50,000 local contribution.
