Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Stroke Trial Innovation and Translation

The Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Stroke Trial Innovation and Translation has been developed to support an outstanding postgraduate research student in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney to undertake research in the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence for Stroke Trial Innovation and Translation. We are seeking to build future research capacity for those with an interest in stroke, and therefore this scholarship is particularly suited to those planning a career in nursing, medicine or allied health professions. Whilst there is some flexibility in terms of the subject of the PhD, we have particular interest and expertise in randomised controlled trials and implementation science (in collaboration with Associate Professor Leanne Hassett), and our provisional title for this PhD is “Effective implementation of treadmill training after stroke”.
