Associate Professor Erin Godecke

Associate Professor Godecke is a leading academic speech pathologist with expertise in the early management of aphasia and stroke outcomes. Professor Godecke holds the position of Vice Chancellor’s Professorial Fellow at ECU and a conjoint role as Director of Allied Health Research at Sir Charles Gairdner Osbourne Park Health Care Group. She received Edith Cowan University’s Research Mentor of the Year award in 2022 and North Metropolitan Health researcher of the year in 2023. Her previous leadership awards include a Stroke Foundation Future Leaders Award and the Stroke Foundation/Stroke Society of Australasia National Stroke Care Champion award for her commitment to stroke.
